The Skip Gram "G-Styk"

Other Skip Gram Designs

This is a set Collection of Photos showing both the airplanes and members of the G-Styk family

1985 - The First G-Styk, Skip's wife Irene posing with the model

G-Styk originally flow by Skip for 5 years, crashed in 1995. It was given to Curt Johns(now deceased) who rebuilt it and flew it until 2010. He then gave it to a fellow member of the Rams Club who is still flying it in 2012. It is on its second O.S. 91 Surpass engine and has well over 1,000 flights on it

1989 - My first G-Styk with an O.S. .61SF-ABC motor, Tuned Pipe and and APC 11x10 Competition Prop

My G-Styk, rear view with graphics and "Pipe" visible

The new century brought a new look for my G-Styk...it was stripped of its skin and re-covered. Also a new, larger and more effective Rudder was added to the model

A Saito .91FS Four Stroke replaced the aging .61 two stroke

Linkage had to be slightly changed, but the fit was near perfect
